A great e-mail

I received this photo and the accompanying e-mail yesterday from a customer in New Zealand. I am so touched that Josie actually took the time to contact me and send a picture.
Dear Ann,

Thank you for the pattern you sent in2005.My daughter in law, then living in England, found it for me on your site.I had been searching for it everywhere. It took me awhile to start it, as i only do one at a time. When you sent it you asked for a photo, well here it is. I have also done her Traveller,Millenium and enchanter.I really enjoy Tereasa Wentzler patterns.I'm having a break at the moment,as i'm working on the Rainbow Forest bed quilt.Another pattern that took me eight years to find.
Greetings From New Zealand. josie
What a rewarding life I have found since retiring and starting the shop. I have so many stitching friends who love to get together and enable and stitch and laugh...do we ever laugh!!! It is so good for all of us . I have also made many friends who I have never met, like Josie and that is just plain heart warming.
Thank You all.

Isn't that just the coolest. Ann, your little shop is what started me on this road. It was you who introduced me to Dani who introduced me to the world of blogging and on from there. We all have so many new and wonderful stitching friends via the internet and word of mouth. How cool to see a finished piece that you sent half way around the world.

You certainlyare right about the friends you make through stitching. As I have told you before, Thursday is my favourite day of the week. I enjoy the stitching, but I also enjoy all the friends, the laughter and the companionship we have at our Thursday stitching group.

That is so cool that you see the results of your customers, especially from afar.

I love the wonderful community of stitchers. I'm about to bring a very good friend of mine in to the fold and look forward to introducing her to all the wonders of the stitching world. Such fun!
