My latest projects

Twisted Band sampler from Northern Expressions

My latest pair of socks
And a pair of socks in progress.

Alas my rotation plans have all gone out the window and my quilt appliqué has slowed significantly.
On the up side I am way ahead on my ornaments for next Christmas!

Ooooh, I love the stitches with ribbons you're making, so pretty!
And your socks are great too.

Have a nice day & hugs, Carolien

I think all your projects are spectacular. I so envy people who knit. I have tried to teach myself how to knit using easy beginner books but have failed miserably. The one time I tried to take a course, the teacher was one of those people who only knit using dime store acrylic yarns - she showed us her projects - and made afghans and scarves. I hate to be a snob, but I wanted to work with nicer yarns and learn the basics of reading patterns so I could eventually graduate from scarves to hats, gloves and socks. Of course, my ultimate goal would be to make a knitted lace shawl ... we can all dream, I suppose.

Your socks and sampler are gorgeous. What sock pattern are you using?
