Ponce de Leon Inlet

Here we are at Ponce de Leon Inlet Lighthouse. As you can see the views from the top are pretty remarkable. Somewhere back there in the distance near the bridge is the condo in which we are staying.
This is a view from the stairs looking down. Apparently there are 203 steps, which I did not count or verify but my legs were telling me that there were at least that many.
At the top ...
At the bottom.
We see on the news that there is snow in the Toronto area today...I may just mention here that I am wearing shorts...enough said.

Nice! I love lighthouses - we've been to tons of them on the east coast and great lakes, but that's one we haven't seen yet. Great pictures!

Now you have to climb the 269 steps in the Cape Hatteras light, the tallest light in the western hemisphere.

Looks like you are having a great time, Ann. Your view though looks quite a bit different from mine today- so much snow, its hard to see across the street :-P

Another favorite spot of mine to visit...:)
Have you been to the Old Spanish Bakery yet? Please buy a loaf of bread and a lemon cookie and eat them for me :)

I love lighthouses! We toured a number of them on a visit to PEI. Not quite as warm as where you are!
You missed a great storm yesterday. I think we got about a foot of snow!
